Mentoppix is a Live CD remastered from Knoppix by Mento (Galuh Prasetyawan). this live cd contains all software you need, includeAdobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.1Open Office 2.0.1, Mozilla Firefox 1.5, Mozilla Thunderbird 1.07.
With the eye candy icon and "Windows XP look" you'll not really difficult to learning Linux.
